Hypothetical:
Build 1 00 and 1 L-00,
Theory- Everything is EXACTLY the same, woods, bracing (for ease please assume that the Martin braced scalloped X bracing and L-00 braced-Gibson 33-35 bracing).
What differences would I hear when both are played ( please assume both played exactly the same)?
Is one superior to the other in certain circumstances?
I am most interested in the SOUND.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, bob J39079.3065856481

For starters, if you build an L-OO like a Martin, it's not going to sound like a Gibson.....

Problem is it's hard to describe the sound of two similar sized instruments that are braced differently, unless you're very familiar with both instruments.
I'm not. Maybe others are. For some reason I would expect John How to have some idea. Shoot him a PM...

Bob, I think the only person who could answer your question as posed is one who has played both close enough together to compare. As those guitars aren't common, probably no one has. It sure would be interesting to hear them side-by-side, though.
